Day of Remembrance
Houstonians will have the opportunity to learn about mental health and its effects on the local community by participating in our World Mental Health Day of Remembrance honoring the 1100 students who die from suicide each year.

Student Government Association for University of Houston will be supplying their school shirts to honor the 1100 student’s memorial. The university shirts will then be donated to Tony’s Place. Tony’s Place sees a world without risk of homelessness for LGBTQ+ youth and their allies, starting with a safe place that empowers the youth to become productive, successful and self-sufficient.
